College football season is about to kick off! What better way to enjoy your new or used RV than with tailgating parties? Check out our RV tips for tailgating below!
Exterior Storage
Tailgating parties and camping trips do have some things in common – like camp chairs and citronella candles. But you might also have some routine camping gear that you just don’t need to haul with you – and once you clear it out of the exterior pass-through storage, you’ll have room for things like the corn hole game and a card table or two.
Fire Up the Grill
If your RV has exterior amenities like an outdoor kitchen and outdoor entertainment, you’re set! If you need an extra cooking surface, consider a portable flat-top grill (yep, it can fit in your exterior storage, too!).
Make sure to have plenty of cold drinks in the exterior mini fridge, and divvy up the food needs between your buddies and have the grill fired up so you can throw meat on to sizzle the second they arrive.
Keep the Kiddos in Mind
An hours-long tailgating party can be fun, but also exhausting – especially if it’s a hot, sunny day. Keep the kids in mind by prepping and packing along what they need to best enjoy the day. Bring some of their own favorite snacks, movies, and games. If they need to head back inside to cool off or enjoy some downtime, let them! And for the little-little ones, keep either the Master bedroom or bunkhouse ready to use for naptimes if they need it.
Make the Most of Your RV
Your longer summer vacays may be over, but tailgating during football season presents its own opportunities for fun weekends and using your RV for a tailgate party helps you get the most out of this investment! Keep multiple games running at a time with amenities like multiple entertainment centers – and so much more!
